When all done, find a cozy spot and lift the flaps from this coloring sheet that doubles as a self paced study guide, to review daily. Read one at a time until mastered, or go through them all each day!

The Catholic Ten Commandments were given to Moses on Mt. Sinai, and they teach us how to live according to the basic moral law. First Holy Communion Preparation is a wonderful time to memorize the Ten Commandments, but it is never to late! Confused about the Catholic 10 Commandments and the Protestant 10 Commandments? Read this and rest easy knowing that Catholic’s are to know and live by every Commandment given by God in Exodus 20!

How to use these 10 Commandment Coloring Pages:

• Adult supervision required! Scissors are needed. Use at your own risk and do not leave children unattended with scissors! For preschool/pre-grammar and grammar level children it is reccommnded an adult do the cutting.
• Choose a number variation and color the page.
• Cut the dotted lines so the numbers swing open like doors.
• Put glue all over the page, except on the flaps you have cut.
• Line up page with 10 Commandments page printed, or hand written on the blank provided.
• Press down, and lift the flap to reveal the commandmnet underneath.

A. The Commandments of God are these ten:

1. I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt not have strange gods before me. Thou shalt not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters under the earth. Thou shalt not adore them, nor serve them.
2. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
3. Remember thou keep holy the Sabbath day.
4. Honor thy father and thy mother.
5. Thou shalt not kill.
6. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
7. Thou shalt not steal.
8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
9. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods.

How to use The Catholic Ten Commandments Coloring Page Study Sheet:

Once completed lift the flap each day to reveal the Commandment. Try to say the Commandment in full before lifting the flap. Once you memorize the Commandment, move on to the next flap.
